Cultural Cooking Project

The Children in care council has expanded and it’s now working with unaccompanied young asylum seekers who are looked after by West Sussex.

Young people in Stonham housing accommodation, wanted to do a cooking project. This involved cooking a dish from their country of origin, letting other young people in the house of different cultures try the food! Young people chatted and got to know each other better whilst eating! Young people also wrote up the recipes in their language.
