Chichester University Social worker training

We did some training sessions with social worker BA and MA students from Chichester University on what being in care is like from a young person perspective. We did the “spaghetti challenge icebreaker, talked about what are the ideal skills and qualities in a social worker and an exercise on using simpler language when explaining complicated words to young people. We had some great feedback from the students and ours was:

Chloe- “It was good to talk and give advice to potential social workers, really nice when they engaged”

Mel- “Good interactive day, great to put our points of view across and to give our perspective”.
