The Political Awareness Campaign

The Political Awareness Campaign aims to raise political awareness among young people in West Sussex, focusing on how our local government works. To achieve this, we have created a series of short videos to be available to schools and young people as resources. The videos aim to help young people learn more about local government and the issues surrounding it.

About the Money

Decisions and Meetings

The Role of Local Government and Who Runs What Local Services

What We Would Like You To Do

The videos can be used alongside your Politics or PSHE lessons, and can even be used as part of your ‘Thought of the Week’ content.

To receive a certificate of participation, which can be used for Ofsted evidence, please email us evidence of how you engaged young people with this content to Claire.denby@westsussex.gov.uk.

We will then send you a certificate and post your stories & photos up onto our blog site.
