Three young people spend the day with Rachel Sadler the lead for SEND for the West Sussex.

What event/session did you attend today?

Takeover Challenge

How did you feel about it? What are your feelings and thoughts?

It was good and i feel good for helping with the SEND website.

What did you learn from it?

Finding out that some of the names of the carers groups, people too offence or found things to formal.

How has this impacted you?

I think it would be hard for me to do a job like this.

What’s next?

I want to be a beautician, so i would need to be trained in Autistic children or young adults to make sure I could handle it.

How did you feel about it? What are your feelings and thoughts?

It was good and interesting to learn about other peoples jobs.

What did you learn from it?

That some of the different jobs were a lot harder than others.

How has this impacted you?

It has made me want to do more volunteering with different people including SEND people.

What’s next?

Work with disabled children.

It was really was good and enjoyable.

What did you learn from it?

That there are many websites that are run in West Sussex for people to go to if they need support.

How has this impacted you?

It has made me think about doing volunteering and it made me realise other things the council do.

What’s next?

I might go into work thank has something to do with people with disabilities.
