What event/session did you attend today?
I spent the day with the comms team.
How did you feel about it? What are your feelings and thoughts?
The day was really interesting and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed working with the media team and attending the EPIC planning meeting. EPIC is the awards night for ‘Exceptional People in Care’.
What did you learn from it?
I learnt about how the WSCC comms team functions and what is does. I learnt more about the planning of events such as the EPIC awards.
How has this impacted you?
This has given me an insight into comms and the roles of jobs that I could do.
What’s next?
I am now volunteering at the EPIC awards.
