Bronze Award – Expedition in New Forest

What did you do?

Walked in the New Forest as a team of 6 over a weekend. From Friday evening though to Sunday.

How will it help you and/or other young people?

It helped me to develop my team skills and communication skills and pushed me out of my comfort zone. This helped me also to develop my leadership skills. It helped me gain part of my scouts award too. These awards are the Chief Scout Platinum and Chief Scout Diamond.

What did you dislike?

There was not much to dislike and I enjoyed everything as it was similar to my scout expeditions.

Any future events?

I am hoping to continue on to do the Silver Award to also help me to complete my other scout awards. I would recommend that people do their DofE because it is fun and interesting.

What will you do not?

Encourage more people to complete their DofE
