What is the National Citizen Service (NCS)

Check out NCS in West Sussex

The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It is a flagship government initiative taking place throughout the year that helps you build skills, take on new challenges, make new friends, discover your community and have fun! If you are aged 16 – 17 why don’t you step out of your home town, meet new people, explore and put your energy and enthusiasm into projects that matter to you!

Supported and developed by the West Sussex Young People’s Service, the NCS programme runs throughout the year. In the Autumn and Spring this is a condensed programme, during the school holidays and followed up over the following month. In the summer the programme is delivered in July and August for 4 weeks.
